    An 800$ labrador is going to cost you 1000$+ a year to keep, life span say 15 years.

    Yeah but it will flush and do a lot more for your duck hunting then a new shotgun every year ever will.

    If your buying a new gun every year it also means your more often than not selling an almost new gun every year also, off setting the cost of your new purchase. So its not like your buying a full new gun every year.

    Well as my latest black bitch has owned me for the last 13yrs and now in conjuction with a Wirehair for the last three, I feel very comfortable commenting that I could have bought a hell of a shotgun for the running costs of those two
    However, It is not the same.
