MIDDLE EARTH GOOSING WITH A LATE ARRIVING HOBBIT

i got the call to say geese were back in the old favourite spots at lake ellesmere.
hell i couldnt get there quick enough since its been a longtime between visits.
within 5 minutes of setting the dekes and having a relaxing muesli bar washed down with juice the first mob of geese responded to my solo call efforts.they spun into the wind coming across nice left to right. dropped one and probably could have taken another couple but didnt want to many to carry out bieng on my todd and it was looking like i could reach my personel limit in the next 20 minutes so no rush.this flight of 6 now 5 literaly turned back to the call and followed the dog retrieving their dead flock mate.well as usual chances were missed in trying to get groups in rather than take the singles who often preceded them.[img][/img]
muzz who had been shifting turned up aboout 6 ish and we hooked into a 12 bird family group taking 4. the rather bored look of me and dog in pic is a result of muzzs fn about with his new no go pro

It's the pattern caused by the downdraft from a goose tornado.
