    Excellent shoot. Few less racing pigeons about. A swan was shot last season that was 25years.

    Haha and here I would be trying to snipe them all with my 22.

    Thats an impressive haul. where abouts was it? Curious to how far they fly for the feeding if you think they mostly come from Auckland.

    philistine, once you have shot properly decoying birds you won't have thoughts about using them as .22 target practice any more. We have rabbits for that sort of carry on.

    Out pukekohe ways, get birds from Auckland and the steel mill we reckon.
    Home made decoys just cut out from real estate sign and painted grey.

    A good day on decoying pigeons is about is good as it gets

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Found some bunny decoys , I could spend hrs in the field with them
    ie caramba i bet you were trouble as a young fella munsey
    how about pidgeon shooting with 22 shot cartridges
    If you really want a challenge try decoying the rabbits
    what would you use ??silys and female rabbit scent ??
    sod that you might end up out of ammo and raped by hordes of randy agressive buck rabbits.
