Review: Soar no more full body pigeon decoys from Wildhabitat

I had been wanting to invest in a set of pigeon deeks for a while.* Nick was kind enough to ship me down three boxes (18 before Xmas).* The Xmas presents you buy yourself are always better than the ones that others get you!* I also ordered a couple of slotted decoy bags off Cabelas to keep them in good condition.

Unfortunately the arrived after the pea crops were sown and before they are harvested so I haven't had the chance to try them in anger yet.* Having said that they look fab.

Each bag has a mix of different marked birds in it to accurately replicate the wide difference in colors of wild birds.

Each full body comes with it's own motion stand and can be set in multiple positions.* A spread of these has variation in color, movement and a variation of poses.* Add a wing spinner or better yet a pigeon spinner and it will rain feathers.

In summary these deeks are EGSSC approved, come in a wide range of fashionable colors and buying them will put you at the forefront of bird hunting trends in the 2014 season.

Pea harvest has just started near where you live.

They look really good! Add a couple of wing birds and a spinner.

I've been buying wing dove each trip to the states, but they are a little smaller then the Pigeons. I have a few now, but yours look bird.

6 for $109 is pretty expensive considering it's just a pigeon you're trying to shoot

Cant say I would pay money for specialized pigeon decoys. They arent intelligent birds.

Be interesting to see if tge birds do react better to them tho

Buy once, cry once. Gun city sell their full bodies for $149 per dozen so I think it's comparable considering they come with the motion stakes and better paint. Wing spinners are also good but the best thing is a pigeon magnet\spinner\vortex or whatever you want to call it. A motor that rotates two long arms and a dead pigeon on each end.

Have used those exact decoys recently. They seem to bring the pigeons in well but you also need plenty of movement in the pattern!
