Thread: Southland F & G meeting 9 October 2014

As far as I know last year was the first time an increase has been specifically to contribute to research. That amounted to about $38,000 nationally on game bird licences. Not much for a research programme. When I say we need more funding I'm not talking about through licence fees. There are a lot of very financial regions out there who are investing their reserves in things other than research. They're who I'm looking to.

good report Mike, nice to see some positive feedback. As for that "Biblical Plague", I think there are a lot of people not seeing it - once again DoC spinning the BS
