2018 swamp comp Results are in ( on the h&f website ) my 6 year old boy is chuffed with his first dozen decoys trouble is i won the same so gonna need a bigger bag.

Well done to all that returned tails regardless of prizes (but let us know if you won anything anyway )

I picked up a couple of possum leghold traps and my young fella a stoney creek hoody. He is wrapped.

Awesome comp great to see over 2000 tails again (2040 i think it was)

Small cage trap for another persons road kill.

someone needs to get a word to shane jones Nz first are hot on 1080 alernatives for pest destruction- get the lo0cal kids involved plus parents -teach em about ecology but also give em good outdoor experience s and hey nowt better than a wee prize at the end is thewre.still remmber buy my first watch from money bro&i made trappin and skinning possums and that was 1966. congrats to all who took the time nailed the raging ferals and got a wee reward!

My mutaloid tails got binned by the old man from the dog tucker freezer,this year they are going in the house freezer.

I couldn’t see a prize this year - but we only had two tails - I got one and my wife checked some traps and got one
Buggar me - the courier just turned up with a swamp comp prize - so I ripped it open and found a rat and small pest cage trap - Whoopee!
Thinking more - I decided to check the address - it was for my wife - shit - I will have to wrap it up again

You will have to take more care of those tails @Dundee - couple of sealed bags in with frozen trout in your kitchen freezer - check to see if Bo can smell it through the plastic

Got my small cage this morning as well,just had to bend the swing over arm to fit the trigger.Enjoy your posts time out,there is a little nugget of info in them.
