    So I asked my boy for details,as I did not witness the catch.He reckons it was about 7-8 minutes,before netting fish.Reckons it was out of the water for less than a minute,for the photo.Held and rested,using the fish recovery technique to get water through the gills,and only let it go when it used its own power.I reckon he did it allright!I asked him about the injury by the tail,he reckons it was a previous snagging injury,he said his was a clean hook in the mouth.

    Mate..on the Columbia river in Oregon USA... if you ever get over here in the season ..you are welcome....we fish the john day..we fish the sandy... we fish the des chutes..we fish anything that has fish......if you like to fish...we fish
