Thread: Crab bait

Does anyone know of any bait shops selling purple rock crabs or the mud crabs they catch off the New Brighton pier?

I usually catch my own purple rock crabs locally but the weather has been shit everytime the tides are right to catch them here.
Otherwise its a long drive to find them up or down the coast.
I have slayed some rig over 30lbs using them here surf casting. I only seem to catch smaller ones on prawns. And prawns don't last long on the hook even with bait string.
Crabs will last as long as they're on the hook.

If anyone can send me a couple ice cream containers full I will happily pay or swap some venison or whitebait. Fresh is best but frozen will do.
