    Have to agree with you there. The trout from Tarawera are bloody delicious. Got one out of there recently and there's no comparison whatsoever to the ones I pull out of the Ngo

    We eat heaps of trout the fillets are battered or crumbed. And its bloody good.

    Some good recipes there, although I think I'm a lost cause. The trout I've been catching come from a sandy/rocky environment and are always stuffed with koura, they are not muddy tasting at all. Just something about them.
