She who must be obeyed was making sly comments about how good fresh fish was. So, I picked up on the not-so-subtle hints and waited for the swell to drop on the local west coast beach.

Two sets with the Seahorse kontiki and job done.

Out today in perfect conditions with Dad and my Son.
Tide was a little low for my first spots but we got a few then as the tide filled and we moved up the channels we did very well.

Out to check the carrot patch today with @stingray.
Conditions were fantastic no wind at all and a wee lazy swell.
I had considered chucking the 223 in for some pest control but didn't and what do ya know here's some goats right on the beach.
