Iv not being their but south pegasus we didn't get any crays big kuri we got two between 20 and 30 meters right out on the point it was very very sharky paua butterfish and trumpeter should be around in far less water unsure if that block has scallops or not but I wouldn't be hung up on crayfish

Yeah it was an epic trip, I'm not enjoying being back at work. The lead was a bugger to fly with but it's only $30 for an additional bag which you'll need anyway(hunting pack, rifle hard case & speargun/dive bag).
You'll want at least 8kg of weight if you're wearing a 5mm wetsuit(can always breath in a little less to decrease buoyancy).

Just take the weightbelt without the weights, and a couple of those long course woollen tramping socks. I filled mine with rocks and duct taped them to the weight belt, so I still had the quick release feature that duct tape does not come with...
