    Iv been stocking up on skippies for bait and bleeding a few for the table
    with the blood line cut and the fish either held in the water(or dropped into my tuna tube) then iced they come out very different to the bait ones left on the boat deck
    albies are good flash fried so the outside cooks but the inside doesnt, then dipped in soy and eaten with ginger and wasabi
    or flour egg and bread crumb

    with the skippies I just trim them extreamly hard to get the blood meat off(albies too) then use them in sushi with avocado and I am extreamly surprised how good skippy is, as I expected it to be crap. - its not.

    but man do they make good snapper bait
