    Here it is.

How to remove a fish hook from your arm and other places - YouTube

Doris wasn't keen to be involved at all.

It was a brand new hook and I gave it a squirt of electra clean, its actually quite tough to insert...its not the point, that goes in a piece of piss its expanding the hole over the shaft and barb.
maybe if it was wet or lubed with olive oil or something?

This is the first time I have ever been "hooked" tho been pierced on the thumb plenty baiting up.
It really does come out easy and painlessly tho I think in some instances you would be better to push it threw and either cut off or crush the barb depending on where it is and how it is hooked.

Key with this method is to push down to clear the barb from flesh and keep your line angle flat to the hook when pulling.

Yea maybe not, not sure how that would even happen unless your mate thought your foot looked like a flounder?

So her pushing down made the hole stretch out like a letterbox slot and the barb could just limbodance it's way under the hanging skin entrance on the way out?

I suspect doing it quickly helps.

Please tell us Doris is not her real name

Lisa says your a good honest man. She enjoyed the clip. Me I still winch watching you harpoon yourself. Big respect just quietly. ...

If you want to see spear fishing gone wrong just google it.... Warning though some of it is very graphic eh.... Closest I being is watching the old man open a oyster with a bait knife and insert it up to the bone in his thumb. Pull it out chuck the offending oyster over the side and mutter something like bugger. Young mate curly was out with his mate noodle (should be a health warning right there) got poked in the face with the sharp end of a spear whilst noodle was loading his gun. Me and knifes seem to have issues though must run in the family eh.
