    Also an on line survey , I will head along with my ideas / thoughts ...will see if the old bloke wants to come he has some thoughts also. Will post what was discussed to the best of my ability here.

    Did not make it in the end, filled out on line survey. In a nut shell lower size to 30 cms to reduce handling of fish keep limit at two and provide a measuring tool so people do not have to hold cod down to measure them. I firmly believe handling cod kills more than anything else. So by not having to measure as many 31,32 + size fish you kill less of them. Yes some people will high grade but most will take a feed and be done with it.

    I am building a fish measure now will post a photo when it's complete. Nothing fancy and not my original idea but it works well along side barb less hooks to limit fish mortality. Well in my view any way.

    Seen one a few years ago it was a length of down pipe cut to required length, one end had an easy open door drop fish in other end tail out legal size tail inside pipe return to sea
