The look of a lure catches the anglers $$$

    The action catches the fish

I have caught plenty of salt and freshwater fish with silicone lures made from silicone RTV in my caulking gun

Can get clear, white, silver and black RTV very easily and makes gosh knows how many lures

I have caught the most saltwater fish on while lures with a silver streak

Freshwater fish have devoured lures with a oily brown colour made by mixing colours together on a clear body

After the main shape sets you can smear other colours in dots and streaks down the side

Back into the hot water cupboard for a day then your ready to go

The smell evaporated/volatilises after a week

Super cheap way to make softbaits

Can even buy alloy/plastic moulds on eBay etc
