    Quick morning fish

Went down mainly to try dads new rod, he was at work so couldn't say no caught 2 baby kahawai but one got off as I was lifting him onto the jetty also got one herring. It is a nice rod but fishing wasn't that great to what it normally is.

Herring that messed up the line, the hook looks like its set but oddly enough no hooks were in it.

The docks, what me and the mates named that spot.

Will have to go to the bar later on when the kahawai are running and test out that rod but its pretty mean, can throw a 30g jig @100m easy

Nah I let the herring go thinking it was alive as it was kicking when he went back 2 min later look down he was lying on the bottom but a eel got him pretty quick, the other kahawai I couldn't kill the knife was too bendy to iki so I left him on the table to just die, For bait. Turn around and he just jumped off and swam away. I bet if that little shit had hands he would have pulled to finger too!

Little fish like that Toby just push a finger through the both sides of the gills and pull. Gills and all will come out clean. No knife required. Easy
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
