Thread: Spearfishing around One Tree Point

Hi guys
I've been out of the spearfishing scene for a few years. I'm moving to One Tree Point, Whangarei. I've never dived Whangarei. Can anyone recommend some dive spots nearby.
Not fussy at this stage. Butters, snaps or whatever really.

It's shallow and sandy on that side of the harbour, so not prime spearfishing territory. If you have access to a boat, Bream Bay is your oyster. You should be able to pick something up anywhere along the north side of the harbour, Peach Cove, Bream Head and beyond, and then there's the Hen and Chicks.
