Thread: spinning for trout napier

hi guys. getting back into trout fishing. my wife and I travel to napier a bit and stay in our camper.usually stop at glenfalls on the mohaka on the way home to taupo. pretty keen on fishing those nice looking rivers in napier. are the estuaries worth spinning into or am I better to head up stream further. cheers jeff

I fish glenfalls a lot and there are some stunning fish there, the goldmine area especially

is the gold mine area down river at the next camping area or do you cross the river at glenfalls and waik down river? cheers jeff

Its downstream from the lower camping area, a nice walking track takes you right to the goldmine entrance
