Thread: Stewart island boat charter

Hi guys

Looking at some of the northern blocks in Stewart Island for a hunt sometime next year.

Have been there on a fixed wing before but want to try a different block this time.

Hoping someone on here will know someone in Bluff or Invercargill that does water transports over there. If you could give me a contact that would be awesome.

Water taxi did runs to the likes of Christmas village and Yankee River when I was there years back (depending on conditions), maybe cheaper option doing ferry to Oban then water taxi than paying for a boat from Bluff.

There are few that do it but if your looking at Northern blocks ( Mt Anglem end) its probably just as cheap to chopper to it, try heliventures in Invercargill

Mana Charters still going but new operator now I believe. I think we are using them again early in the new year

Mana charters is the only one with a website I can find. Any idea about the name and contact for this new operator?
