I have seen enough footage from this place over the years to put it on my bucket list.
Can put you in touch with a guy who has modest beach house on resort that may be available to a mate

We used to visit Sundays when working in Noro.
Solomons is a great place especially if you a little adventurous. Much much safer now than when I started going there.

Probably! One thing I will say about the place, I could walk down the street and receive zero hassle. Having spent a little time in Asia, that was quite nice.

Northern KwaZulu-Natal / Maputaland in South Africa. Marlin, GTs, tigerfish, bass, yellowfish and trout, all within a day's drive. Agree with Mocambique if you're just interested in the briny fish.

Second that, grew up in KZN. However nowadays I think Mozambique is more friendly towards the European skin colour than KZN or South Africa in general…

I've been to Tofo in Mozambique. Wild surf beaches and crazy beach launching of boats. Think west coast NZ on a bad day. Is the whole coastline like that?

    Go to Niue.
One issue is flights, only 2 or 3 times a week depending on time of year.
    Great people, great fishing,

And if your keen, let me know and I'll get some locals to look after you.
