Sheeps head in a deep pool at the river and a fishing rod or piece of string and a hook, if close to the surface a 12g turns them up for the gaff. Happy fishing!!

Don't know what part of the country you are in @Cody.a but any stream river should turn up an eel or 2 landed...used to just gut open a road kill possum or rabbit tie a string/rope to it tail chuck it in stream and leave it. Eels wrap themselves up on intestines then pull it in..

Take only what you need. I hate senseless killing and then wasted. But for a feed all good.

These eels turned up within minutes of gutting a trout last night.
