When your kingi spot goes bad

We saw a shark following in a couple of spearo's with a kingi on Friday night, so when I did romantic thing last night and my lady out to watch the sun set .... Well this was the last thing I expected to see.

This bloke got the short straw and swam out the baits

He swam out over 100 meters dropped of two lines and swam back in..... Yep he saw one, they had no luck whilst we were watching the sun set.

Can't shoot a kingi from the shore so I'll be out amongst it Friday.

    I figured that.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

was a bit big for me to deal with wouldnt fit in my chillibin so i picked it up and put it back in the water
couldnt stand the thaught of ending up with a whole heap of red pastie meat because i didnt look after it properly
so i put it back in the water to grow even bigger for when I can deal with it

I'm not a tahr hunter but have been a couple of three times , not that hard to get onto them , just don't have the knowledge of long range shooting and picking out trophies from a zillion Ks away . Just let you know that first as hate to disappoint . Happy to sort something I'm sure if weather is good we would get you on to something . Fly to Christchurch and will sort from there . And I'm not into ice axe and crampons screw that for fun !
