I got just over a kilo at the Kakanui river mouth this moring, only been out 3 times this season for over 6kg's so I'm happy.

Unfortunately lawn bowls has started now so may not get a chance to get out again this season as it ends at the end of october.

Where are you based while you are over here? if I do go again I would take you for sure, my wife is from WA so may have a few things to talk about.

Im sure if I can't get out someone will take you.

Got a great spot on the Wairoa and finished my set net yesterday, so this week

Will go out for a look today for the first time this season. Still a bit blustery but at least there’s no white rain.

1.8kg yesterday it’s been a really slow start to the season but it’s good to get amongst it now.
