Thread: Will an eel take a rapalla lure?

More likely to be a large brown. I hooked one one day that just swam straight upstream away from me until the book straightened.

I've had eels grab my trout that are half beached and try drag em into the water, so I'd say an eel would definitely take a lure, however I wouldn't say they are a game fish species that would hit a lure out of aggression, if yiu slow rolled a lure in front of one and it was hungry or feeding it woild more than be possible to get a bite
