    Worlds worst Salmon fishermen.

    Thats me and my boy.
We cannot even catch one in a stocked pond ffs.
Probably put the boy off of fresh water fishing for life wtf are we doing wrong?

I went and bought this gear.
    The bait nuggets were recommended.
Hooks were the smallest I could find at burnsco.

You need to spend a couple of grand before you can even consider trying to catch Salmon VC. They are the elite of the fishy world

Try and find some fishmeal based pellets at the pet shop. That will be the staple diet I am guessing,

That may be the case in the land of POMME Pengy but here in gods own country everyone is equal. Of course VC and I are more equal than you. Ha ha ha ha

If everyone is so equal, why do we need stocked ponds ?

That should get a bite or two

The ponds are bait only no lures, fish attractants, burly etc

The match is for scale so you experts can advise on the hook being to big/small/wrong shape/wrong colour/wrong price etc.

When the other people got fucked off with not catching fish and went home I may or may not have had a pocket full of salmon feed pellets that produced fish but altho the float would go under with a take on many occasions not one hookup.

I think the big pond you can use lures, They have been fished quite hard lately we have seen people fishing most nights lately.

Best to take him out one evening, take ya dogs for a run too. There are some bigger fish (5-9lbs) in the main pond too

I have smaller hooks here if you want some to try?

I cant take my dogs Mikee I cant take them anywhere, they can barely walk from outside to inside....literally Zac has all but lost control of his back wheels and bowls.

Do you want to take him?(the boy not the dog) be better learning from a Salmon pro.

Made from porcupine quills. When the fish takes the bait the quill stands up an is pulled under water with very little resistance. Great for any timid biting fish, Piper especially.

Ahh....so it should be more like a saltwater strayline setup where the fish can take the bait and swallow it with little resistance?
I thought the float was an indicator to strike?
Either way striking or not had the same results
