    I'd love to get out and do some sailing. I did a course sailing splashes last year. I don't have my own boat. Apparently you can rent them from like, the ponsonby cruising club. It was a lot more physical than I expected sailing those little things!

    Rimfire ,if you want company on a day out send mail as im usually a starter and it gives you a bit more confidence sailing with another person . the splash is like a small laser isnt it? This is me on the water today in my new dinghy

    Yeah I'll have a look at how much it costs to rent one of those splashes from the sailing club and get in touch. It'd be nice to get out on the water again.

    sailed a 14ft Aussi skiff for the fist time .really unstable boat even with its size , light winds on the Rotorua lakes but good fun .
