Press-ups,star-jumps , trampoline , tibetan 5-rites and as above , no sugar (except honey ) Avoid high-carb diet , it really slows-down your entire metabolism .Even sitting correctly (posture) makes a big difference to core-strength . Light, fast-weights and sprint-races with your dog, kids etc .Keto-diet and Fasting . All of the 'above' got me off heart-meds, shrunk my prostate and got me going again . I bike as well . Before covid knocked us around , I had built-up to 40 press-ups a day, (real-ones) so they build-up pretty fast , I could only do about 5 to begin with .

Alternate days run/bike for about 1 hour, with one of those days being a "long run/bike" Daily press up/ sit-ups/deadlifts and kettlebell regiment. once a week ruck( 20-30kg weighted frame pack) up my local hill of about 300m elivation ( I call it my venison recovery simulator) one day mandatory recovery per week.
Also getting 8 hours sleep and eating the right foods for fuel and avoiding stress plays a big part in preformance in the hills.

My office is up a flight of stairs, I'm up & down about 50 times a day. Walk the dog at night minimum 1/2 hr. Hit a hill climb track once a week near hunting season does me ok.

Your health account, your bank account, they're the same thing. The more you put in, the more you can take out. Exercise is king and nutrition is queen: together, you have a kingdom.[29]

Have you ever read about LaLanne, he really is worth checking out. It is doubtful that there would be a single person in NZ today that could keep up with him

I live now on a low carb no sugar diet. Being pre diabetic isnt easy, but like others on here have said, put in the effort. It will pay off in the long run.

I never used to take the time to read what was in food that I ate. When you actually start to pay attention to what is in simple foods it is shocking. There's so much crap in our food it's unbelievable!!!

And the way that media brainwash people with their adds on telly. You would think that a healthy breakfast would be orange juice and something like sultana bran or something if you believe them. WRONG!! its full of bloody sugar.

Just stick to a meat and fresh veg diet now. Much better.
