Thread: Buy Sell Feedback Sticky

Apologies if this has been discussed already but I havent seen it..

Is there any value in having a sticky in the Buy/Sell forum for feedback on good & bad sellers? Nothing extensive, just a pinned post of Users where someone has vouched for that person from trading with them. The OP/Moderator can edit the first post with a list of names with positive or negative.

Something like;

Jo Bloggs. 3
Jim Brown 5
D. Dick 1 2

I know its a bit Tard Me, but It would be good to recognise good traders on the board and the ability to steer away from any bad ones.
Thoughts?

Like Tardme would we also rate grotty, disgruntled, never to be satisfied no matter what, buyers?

A good idea, but as muzza said,, probably not necessary here.
I usually look at how long a member has been around for as a bit of an indication of their goodness.

I think if a deal goes sour on here everyone will soon read about it. But..... A few months later no one will remember who's a dick to deal with. I can see the benefit of something like this to save time searching past posts.

Just look at when they joined and number of posts. There's enough people trying to use the place like trademe as it is. F%$k having little star ratings.

ask around if you unsure.....I took gamble here with new person/seller and couldnt be happier to recommend him from that time onwards to others.....
MAYBE ability to search threads started by member in buy sell section would solve any uncertainty???

Unfortunately, one user name sprung to mind right away. Dont think they have ever posted apart from buy sell

generation mememememememe gimegime gime stuffs things for a lot of folks.....also first to put hand up for a freebe and then turn around and sell it....grrrrr

I think the buy/sell forum is just for trading. At least thats what the name suggests!
