Unhappy How long does it take to apply for a firearms license?

My referee told me that the interview was finished on 22nd Jan.
Today is 11 March, I have not yet received any mail now.
    Is this usually the case?

    Hi,

Yes, it could sometimes take up to 90 days. There is nothing you can really do, just be patience and wait for it it turn up.

Depending on the size his/her workload (which may be considerable) they will get back to you when things permit.

The events of the last year and the general retardedness of all things firearms at the moment won't have helped.

I find a polite followup call will usually get results, particularly if you mention the rifle you want to purchase won't be available much longer,or there is a hunting trip coming up...

Thank you, I'll contact AO next week if the FAL doesn't turn up.

Sounds kind of like they are changing the rules, before the rules have been changed (by parliament).
