No
Yes
Only in thread titles.
if you wouldnt say it in front of your mum or grandma or son daughter nephew, why put it in a post , esp the title
My guess is that like most forum software, censoring can be an option that the user selects?
My theory is no F & C bombs in the thread title, and enable the censoring option sop people can choose if they want to see the swear words or not. And have censoring enabled by default.
At least then those of us who couldnt give the proverbial rats arse about reading swear words can still read them without seeing stars
I love all animals.........especially with gravy

Inside every older person is a younger person wondering what happened.
No issues with swearing at all and voted to keep it out of titles but i fear that all that will happen now is people will open threads with swearing in them and once again be offended, then what? maybe another poll!!
Just maybe there does need to be a smiley with an x over its mouth to warn the sensitive.
I got to the party late...
My 0.2c - I quite like the relaxed, colloquial nature of the forum thus far. It is a welcome departure from some of the cry baby hurt feelings stuff I have observed on the other forum, where there was a double standard in moderation. Personally, I'm not offended at all by swearing and I don't think we should gag people to appease some member of the public - if you don't like it, don't look. There are many forums on the internet with much, much lower standards, but as long as the bad words aren't directed at other forum members in an offensive manner, then I say no worries. We are all big boys after all and no matter what we do there will always be the "sandle wearing" element hating on us. YMMV
