Thread: [Film] "Long Range" with a .22lr

    Run into a fella at the range the other day shooting ISSF pistol.
    He resizes all his .22 rounds.

    Has a die and shell holder.
    He reckons it makes a huge difference to accuracy.
    If his shooting was anything to go by, I have to believe him.

    He said they did an experiment with a batch of ammo thru a norinco. Shot around an 1.5" at 25m normally. Same batch of ammo resized, had it shooting little bug holes.

    Yep, resizing 22LR ammunition. Can be particularly useful in rifles with looser chambers. My understanding is it doesn't do much for a quality target rifle...

    Batching by rim thickness can be beneficial as well.

    It is, I don't like the "beavertail" forend but other than that it's nice. Much better than the factory 10/22 stock & the best aftermarket option I've found
