Thread: 14” 308 barrel

@Shearer, the browning x bolt can be cut down to 14" inches ish due to the short fore end . The tikka is a 15" job usually .
I can weight a piece of barrel tomorrow and come back with the result. On top of my head 4" of tikka barrel is about 125 grams.factory x bolt is 22". But if I remember well that rifle was already trimmed down at 18 or so inches.

You should not see much of a change of impact on such a short barrel when adding a s/s baffle. But it is always worth rechecking on target.
