You are correct that Ruger is not on par, reputation wise.

Between the other 3 contenders, you have a chance of getting a very accurate one, and also a chance of getting a meh one. That is the nature of mid-ranged product.

CZs have better looking stock. T1X charges 11 hundy and and gives you cheap plastic.

On the other hand, T1x, by reputation seems to be more consistent than CZ (as in you have a less chance of getting a meh one).

CZ 457 MTR is a new line, match style chamber and guarantees 15mm at 50m for 22LR and comes with a awesome looking stock. CZ is being deliberately unclear on whether there is any difference between MTR and other models for calibres other than 22LR. I have not heard of "match style chamber" for 22WMR or 17 HMR. But, if I were you this is what I would get. Reloaders list them at a bargain $1,249, about 300 less than other retailers and cheaper than US and UK pricing (which is very rarer).

I picked up a used CZ 455 Evolution and will be topping it with a Leupold 4-12 scope.

The Evo has a nice stock. I got 2 of these stocks and like it a lot.
