    Has anyone had much experience with the cci segmented subsonic rounds?

    Usually use Win Powerpoints, used Kilwell Subs but found the Winchester Subs to be more effective on small game even though the Kilwell ones have a Winchester head stamp.

    I have just gone through four packets of subs in the last month,Kilwell whisper and Winchester my .22 stirling bolt action doesn't eject the brass first time but it rocks through the remmy bullets with no probs.Comes down to the rifle I reckon.

    CCI segmented subsonics are awesome, they seem to do more damage than supersonic hollow points. Although they are a bit expensive.
    Also I've found the Winchester 42 max to be very consistent and hard hitting.

    Yes, it is one of those loads that you try, and then you dont look any further. For hunting it is the best on the market, in my opinion of course.
