Me and a mate gave the homebrew a go way back when we first started flatting. We had two main problems,adding extra sugar to get alcohol content up once resulted in 15 odd exploded riggers in the spare room, and we could never let it sit long enough.Got ya pissed but cloudy as hell and a hangover Il never forget.

I head shot a few sparrows at 25m so its good for me, I like my marlin although it has one thing really gay on it that I would fix if I knew how

What do you want to fix? Have you lightened the trigger or is it still factory?

I've got a Marlin to. Its the MAE Full Suppressed model. Shoots pretty well, I havn't shot any groups with it for ages. It shot like crap on a bipod, way better supported by hand. I think it was a bottle cap at 50 yards for the mag of seven shots. That was with CCI Velociter, Stinger wasn't flash neither was power point (but everyone knows that).

my old 22 fires 5 shots in are 10c coin at 50 mitres

there this little metal bar thing the bolt slides up on that when you push the mag in it is meant to stop under the bar but it doesn't and slides up over it(only when I push the mag in too hard) and it jams up the bolt. Im not sure how to fix it besides maybe bending the little lip thing on the mag in a bit so it hits the bar and cant go up any more. but I dont want to wreck my mag cause mags aren't cheap.

It is just a little click to insert a mag, someone been watching too many Hollywood movies and giving it a big slap?
