That sure won't fit in a short action Rem700

I have a 243AI here with a 105 Amax in it, it is 0.4mm longer than my possible 6.5 Terminator length with 140 Amax.

I have designed to 6.5 Terminator to be mag length with 140s

KG can you tell me the OAL of the 243AI with the 105 A-Max loaded. I have a possible 2.950" of magazine to work with in the AI magazine.
As nice as the 6-7SAURMag or 6.5 Wajamacalit sounds or anything else burning half a can of powder I might just take a raincheck

The one I have is 71.7mm or 2.82"

60-70 grains is hardly half a can of powder.....even 208grains isn't even close

Iv just had a 243ai chambered at TF for the 105vld.Its 2.82 OAL which has the start of the boat tail just clear of the neck shoulder junction. The amax with its different shape is 2.78 but that puts the base of the projectile quite deep.Chambered for the amax at 2.81 OAL the start of the boat tail would sit deeper than the neck shoulder junction by .050.All aprox numbers here.

I was advised the mag could be modded to the larger 2.950" length.
