300 rum for me. The 300 prc has my interest and looks sexy but till Norma or lapua makes some brass I ll be hesitant to head that way.

The Norma cartridge is based off the 338lapua case which means you can probably cross that one off your list. Bolt face would need to be opened up and the ammo wont fit in most 300win mag class magazines as its too fat. You really need a 338lapua class rifle to make a 300norma properly

When you are shooting at that distance I think the 338's would be better. The fast 30's would be hard on barrels, the Rum you might get a 1000 rds depending how hot you get it, mine doesn't take many to heat it up. Is this for shooting steel or game?

Came across this in a search. I run te 338 Lapua mags with my 6.5 PRC as it sits the round higher in the mag and has shorter feed lips and works way better than the 300wm mags. This is obviously I’m using a long action for my PRC and using very long heavy bullets, the Lapua mag allows the Bullet to hit the feed ramp higher and feeds much better. The same would be for the 300 PRC and the 300 Norma.
