Thread: 338LM ELR practice

Hi Norway,
very interested in the suppressor you are using there, for a 338 it seems incredible. Quiet and recoil looks like there is nothing at all.
from those that shoot 338's here do you think the locally made suppressors would be as effective?

Sorry for late reply. Hausken Whisper silencer, quite ok for this. Have no inkling of how well NZ suppressors work, must be measured with a dB meter. Should be no reason why it's not as good ??????

I'm sure there is Pete but they won't be accurate, you need very $$$$ gear to do it, a Mate has said gear & has been testing bits & pieces

The Mic alone was $7K.....
