    .375 CEB 350 & GSC 414 at 2050 yards

Went out yesterday to shoot the Cutting Edge .375, 350grain at 3050 fps with the GS Customs 414 at 3130 fps.
The Cutting Edge were shot out of a 375 Terminator, this barrel has always been problematic, always badly fouled after 25-30 rounds.
I have tried everything I can think of but it still does it

With two bullets remaining from yesterdays shoot, I went the range to check it's zero this afternoon.
It was as it should be & put the two in the same hole less than 1/8 moa group, with plenty of copper clearly visible in the muzzle......

Here is the video at 2050 yards the rock is a different one to last time & slightly bigger, under 1/4 moa, 3-4".

The end result was .25 moa difference in elevation, 4.5 moa in windage, some small sub moa groups & a broken rock

I'm not entirely sure why there was such a big difference in windage ?

The elevation difference was about what I expected, in my rifles at that distance the 350 does appear to have a higher BC than the 414, especially when you take into account the speed difference.

Tryed further, 3050 ish yards Toby, but bullets weren't up to it, couldn't see any strikes, even on the big screen.

Have shot there before with the CE 425 & got some strikes so will have another go some time.

I need another range finder my one only goes to 3000 yards ......

Thats good going. 3000 is a pretty long way. Would these rifles out perform a .50bmg?

    Thanks.

Yes they did sort of, except both the bullets were a little lower than normal yesterday, so required a little more elevation due to ??? probably conditions.

I didn't need any windage when I shot there a couple of weeks ago, as seen here ....

The BC I use for the 414 is 0.83-0.84 & the 350 is 0.88-0.89 for this range

Depends what your deffinition of out perform....

They are certainly inherently more accurate & easier to shoot further.

But can't carry a payload & only fire little projectiles in comparison.

Nope the 375s use standard Mag primers.

    I will use the 50 primers in my 416 Barrett & 50

Trouble with the BMG is the drop Toby.
My BMG with a short barrel was 70 odd moa to 1000yards the 375 is 60moa to 2000yards
And the 375 is waaaaaay more accurate.

It was fun I said around 70moa I just ran it through shooter and came up a bit short.
It was the first lightweight 50 Scott made, it had a 16 inch barrel and was launching the 650fmj at 2300 so the ballistics weren't exactly amazing
Think he still has a pic on the website of a deer we knocked at around 730 with it
It was not known for amazing accuracy I think the short tube held it back at range.
    Here it is again
