Thread: 7mm 143 hammer hunter @560 yards

    I shot a fairly large red hind just recently at just over 300y with a 7mm 90gr HH. Would have been somewhere around 2100fps impact velocity. She folded without taking a step & upon opening her up looked like she had been hit with a 180gr ELDM. Is certainly impressive how effective the HH are for their weight.

    What is the exit velocity? Barrel burner.

    Have to buy them from the producer in the States. Freight is a price killer so it's cheaper to buy more than less. But they are expensive.

    They get here quicker than stuff by courier from South Island.
