I don't recall ever getting a misfire in my stirling 14, but I never ever put that many rounds through it. Its had quite a few bricks along with other various packets but don't recall it not working because of the ammo. Mechanically the sear engagement stuffed me around for a bit until we tigged up the bolt, after that no dramas.

that DTL100/300trap ammo-just the gnats nuts.
ammo to avoid -remington subsonics more poof than an exploding feather pillow-possums die of laughter as it skips up the road to shake hands
eley 12g ammo bloody good but 150%filthy-dirtier that GCs kremen ammo!

Yeah mate...the Belgium rifles hold their prices very well......unfortunately mines not stamped...Made in Belgium........I’m bloody happy with this rifle and the way/feel it has,.....a very smooth action, nice weight, and the Magtech rounds suit the rifle just fine

Most Browning guns were made in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale (FN) until the mid 1970s when some production was shifted to Miroku in Japan. Today's Browning firearms are made in either Belgium, Portugal, Japan or in the United States.

Mate wore out 2 barrels in a bar 308 in the forestry. He loved it
Up until lately where the new AR's in 308 are getting light, it would probably be the only 308 semi I'd get.

Yeah mate,I’ve heard those grumbling as well.....most think it’s unfounded.....I have the BAR Mark 3 semi auto....I was told if I ever wear the barrel out,to bring it back and they would replace it for free......Browning at least has a reputable customer service ethic....

Yeah but he actually wore it out. He was culling and doing pest destruction for the forestry back in the early 80's. It was round count alone that made him rebarrel it not quality. if I could shoot out a barrel and get it replaced for free that would be a sweet deal.
