Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where i can get one of these spinner targets in NZ. I would prefer AR500 steel (or equivalent) for rifle use.
Cheers,

Damn, I could play with one of those for hours
Gillie any engineer worth his salt could whack you one of those up.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Try Bert at Oceania Defence, he makes AR500 steel targets.

Probably only want two. And given the price of AR500 and the labour involved (both disks are AR500 as well as the joining strip between them because someone will hit this bit I am sure) I would prefer an existing design (i.e. that works) as compared to one I design myself (i.e. that may not...). I am not sure the purpose of the counter weight behind? I would have thought the weight of the heavier disk would have had the target return all the time.
Surely one of the pistol clubs already have one of these?
I would appreciate the pricing guys. Maybe a 12" target for the bottom and 8" target at the top... maybe the counter weight is because the targets on their own aren't heavy enough and it is too easy without the added weight?

I'm following this. It occurs to me there may be a few of us keen.
I'm wondering if it's worth costing the plate unit alone. The frame and counterweight is more manageable locally for some of us; it's the profile cutting of the specialist steel where a bulk order will at least distribute the computer time etc
Just a thought....
JC Steel Targets Spinner
12" target at the bottom, 8" target at the top (that makes the AR500 target piece nearly 1.5m long!). 10mm, 12mm, or 1/2" thick AR500 (or equivalent) would be fine as I would want it to be suitable for up to the 338 magnums. AR500 portion is an odd shape and I would expect a fair amount of wasted steel "off cuts" out of it. If I could get some 100mm square targets out of the off cuts that would be cool as well.
