Looks like a good shoot and a great location Brian. Good on you for putting it together. Don't stress about the number of people who say they'll turn up compared the the number that actually turn up. I have had to deal with that every shoot i have run. Congratulations to Matt as well. On a good day he is hard to beat.

Welcome to the forum Old Gun. El Borracho has a new thread going for the next Auckland gong shoot. See you there
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

El B, are the rules for these Auckland gong shoots pretty much the same as the ones posted for the Tarata 800 ?

Any rest front and any rest rear ?

    Hi All,
I am recovering from a serious infection since last post, now 99% OK, keen to get back to the field and start shooting again. I'll like to join the next shooting event.

PM El Borracho and put the heat on him. He is the man doing the organising.

Bugger it. I'd been keeping an eye on the other post over the past couple of weeks and hadn't seen a date organised.
Looks like it would have been a good day out.

It looks like the South Head area.

This one hasn't happened yet. You were probably reading about the one that was held last year.
