A few of the staff here at school are keen duck shooters and after showing them mine - they are keen on getting a few pairs in and want me to organise the order seeing as I've dealt with them before.
Bumping the thread to gauge interest for another group - probably only space for two or three pairs maybe.....? Rich007 can be put down as a maybe already - he seemed keen in the Bulk Buys thread / he can confirm it later on.
For those attending the LR shoot on Saturday in Ohakune - I will have mine there in person for you to check out.

I have put my electronic earmuffs up in the buy sell section for sale if anyone is interested.
Just for info... I missed the group buy on the other forum and just got a pair from Amazon. Cost was about $NZ85 landed (can't remember exactly how much). They are *FANTASTIC* for bird hunting - I've worn mine over in the Wairarapa. They are also very good for clay target shooting. They are good for pistol shooting if you don't have a .44 going off next to you (I did - I went along to a "welcome to the range" type day, and someone was using one) and are ok for rifle shooting if you are out in the wilds. At a range with a roof with centrefires going off around you? Stick plugs in first. Don't get me wrong - I like mine, but they have definite limitations. Work within the limitations and you'll be sweet.
I found same thing BTMO, indoors they just dont seem to work at all - I'm yet to try outside
i agree they're a bit cumbersome around centrefires. i kept wanting to lift my right earmuff as it was stopping my face getting down onto the comb. I used to use just plain old yellow earplugs around the SFMG's in the infantry (ie freakin loud). might look into a better fitting set of those if i can find some. Thats not to say the electronic earmuffs dont work, they did quite well with the pickups turned up just slightly.
