    Film 22: Shooting the .260

A little range work on some steel plates, and attempting a THLR proficiency test from a totally unprepared starting position - nothing dialled, scope on minimum magnification, caps closed, earplugs out, rifle unloaded and slung, etc

Digit, Bryan, Dreamer and 3 others like this.

I found some with gel plugs on the end, lower NRR but tighter band and easier to get in.

Very good shooting! What does the Finn(not)lite ;-) weigh with that scope?
I like the look of that set up!

4.1 kilograms with scope, suppressor, that cheekrest, sling. Light enough considering the scope is 870 grams! It works great for me, 392 rounds through it now.

The pinot box contained nothing more exciting than ciabatta rolls I'm afraid

I hate the bloody things, earmuffs are the only way to go. And you need to watch for ear infections if you use plugs a lot, along with getting your ears cleaned out by a nurse regularly.
