File the end of a small nail flat and drift it out. Pliers mark shit up.

I know a lot but it seems less every day...
A drift punch is the better way to do it. An extra pair of hands to prevent the spring tension launching parts in to the future is always helpful
I got it apart without things going flying.
I was very surprised how clean it was in there.
Gave it another clean and oiled anyway and lightly sanded the inside of the opening of the tube.
Hopefully be able to take it out tomorrow for another shoot and see how it goes.
put the tube over a good straight edge and make sure its not bent they can get dropped during loading does not do them any good as far as feeding goes
Let us know how you get on. I there is nothing obstructing the tube then I'm afraid I have no idea what the issue might be.

Got it sorted. Not sure what it was, but after oiling the spring and sanding the opening it's now closing on ten rounds of cci subs... The preferred round of my BRNO semi auto, so I'd be happy with one type ammo for all my 22's .
Stick with subs or standard velocity ammo and it should last for ever
