This November we ran a shoot on a new property off the Gentle Annie - funnily enough it was called the Gentle Annie Steel Challenge. Because we had not run an event on this property before and so the manager could see what we do we kept this event as invite only. We invited a few people we know and who have been to our events before as well as a couple of others.
The event involved a hunter class competition (targets out to 350m) and a long range competition (targets out to 1100m). I have put a few photos below and a couple of videos. Was a bloody good weekend! And was great to catch up with a few people and meet some new faces as well.
This was by far the most targets I have set for any single event. Between then two courses of fire I had 23 separate stages running at once with most of the long range stages involving more than one target. Was a pretty cool sight to be honest.
Station was a great host, we stayed in the shearer's quarters for the price of a box of beer (each) and they put on a lamb on a spit for us after the shoot! Was a great feed and there was not much left!
I do expect to have another shoot on this property at some stage but nothing is in the planning as yet.
