It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

[QUOTE=kiwijames;508890]243Win has better brass options. Does anyone actually make 6mm Rem brass anymore?
A bigger powder load pushed through the same dia hole is faster....... but barrels are longer lasting? .............really?
Do some research the 6mm Rem has a longer neck it contains the burning gas better and protects the throat from erosion my 6mm has fired 3000 rounds and is still accurate
not many .243's get to half that, I was not talking about availability of brass or ammo just the merits of the cartridge, Winchester and Hornady supply both brass and loaded rounds
stand twist in both are now 1:9" the 6mm always was it took the industry a long time to figure out that the .243 should change.
Stone cold sober @Dundee also witnessed it
