They look strangely like bulk repackaged Hornady 55Gr SP training Ammo. Which incidentally in my Remmington 700 CDL Bolt shoots well under MOA for 5 round groups every day of the week and is absolutely fine and works well on the goats we've used it on.

I'm thinking its just been bulk bought and re-packaged for H&F based on the look of the box illustration. Just make sure its not the full FMJ 55gr projectile that Hornady sell in bulk - I just can't get these to group anything near 2 moa in my rifle. Got about 290 left if anyone wants some...

    This one - Spec's from Remington website 700 CDL 223 Remington 7.375 24" 43 5/8" 1:12" Discontinued LEFT 27101

I bought it from Reloaders its been bedded, and had a fantastic trigger job done on it prior to me. I played around with some 55gr Blitzking handloads at 24gr of AR2206c 2 sided by side holes for 5 rounds ain't too bad as @Scouser can attest it shot.. OK.

The FMJ's shot complete PUS! 4 different loads 22.5-24gr federal match primers average spread between 2-3 MOA. Same loads as above just different projectiles but shoots MOA on the factory SP training ammo (50 Box which was what I thought this looked like) re-badged by Hornady.

I have 30 rounds for sale if anyone wants them. I have always shot the Hornady training and goes well so I tried that stuff and it made patterns on the paper a 12 gauge would be proud of. Three training grouped well, three h&f Terrible then three training good.

Peel the h&f label off and you will probably find out . It looks like it could be Belmont ( they sell plain box 55 psp hornady )

I shoot this stuff in my AR just fine, shoots better than the Hornady 55gr brass case stuff.
I buy in 250 round lots and makes it a fair price.

What is the barrel twist rate? I had the exact opposite experience, the h&f stuff grouped terribly and the Hornady always went well, even when I fired ten shots with three Hornady round in the middle of them if that makes sense

1-7 spikes barrel and i found it nearly as good as the hornady. But for wallabys and close deer it's fine for me

My AR is also 1-7 twist barrel.
Everyone's gun will have different experiences.
I am trying a new ammo this weekend which I got stupidly cheap.
If you're after some cheap 5.56 or 223 ammo PM me
