    from what I remember it takes shotgun primers and will run on black powder which you can buy from most gunshops or pirodex which is smokeless equivalent
    the problem is the bullets its designed from my knowledge to fire stabbed slugs which are not easy to get in nz due to the fact no one shoots inline type muzzle loaders here you may be able to use a cast slug or a ball allough the twist rate will be way to fast for a ball you never know

    I have balls and powder here if you wish to try with them

    +1 however it has its disadvantages being salt based it will rust out barrels if your in the moist bush a few days and not cleaned every day

    but im am and always will be a supporter of the real thing

    Don't use pyrodex unless you want to clean an oil your barrel every week from then on to stop it rusting!

    you could try a cast 50cal slug its about the right twist

    ideal ball twist is 1:48 for a 50 cal however you wont fuck anything by trying it just wont be accurate you never know ive shot balls through fast twist slug rifles before with good success this was shot trough my 38 cal slug barrelled rifle with balls the twist is technically way to fast
